The North American Sports Fans Association is an Organization committed to giving our membership a voice in the world of Professional Team Sports.

In order for our "voice" to be heard though, we need to listen first, and that is why we are also dedicated to bringing our members and sports fans the most accurate, factual, and ethical information within the sporting community.

The Mainstream media seems content on telling its viewing or listening public what to think. Many times they will use a "spin" in order to sensationalize a story in order to meet the media-generated notion that, "all the public wants to hear is controversy." Editors will split comments in half to illustrate a point that they want to make although it has nothing to do with actual context in which it was said.

The NASFA will bring back responsible journalism to our members and readers. I’m sure that the mainstream media will call us “boring” or “soft” but it is our contention that what the fans really want is the truth and not sensationalism. We are not about telling our viewing public what they should think. Instead, we feel it’s our duty to bring the most factual and accurate information to them, so they can decide for themselves and form their own opinions.

We will soon become the sole source for players, coaches, and teams who need to speak to their fans and the public with the utmost confidence that what they say will not be distorted, and what they mean will be appropriately conveyed.

I hope that you will find value in what we are offering. It doesn’t matter if you are a fan, player, coach, or a Public Relations director as I encourage you to join our Association so together we can make our voices heard.

Thank you very much.
