Week Six NFL Spotlight Preview: Cowboys vs. Patriots

5-0 vs. 5-0.  Explosive offense vs. Explosive offense.  This week 6 showdown is hyped as the biggest game of the season thus far.  Terrell Owens spoke volumes when he decided NOT to speak about the game, but this game has too much star power to not talk.  Two teams will run through the tunnel in Texas Stadium with legitimate Super Bowl aspirations and one team will leave the stadium with their first loss of the season.

If Dallas is going to win this game, everyone knows Tony Romo needs to hold on to the ball and play like he did in weeks 1-4.  A key to this game for Dallas is Jason Garrett vs. Bill Belichik’s scheme.  If Garrett can use a more creative game plan like he did against Chicago, Dallas will move Terrell Owens around and Romo won’t be so focused on, and force throws to, Jason Witten thus making their offense more unpredictable.

Week Five NFL Spotlight Review: Patriots vs. Browns

When the final whistle blew in New England on Sunday the Patriots went to 5-0 and the Cleveland Browns dropped to 2-3.

The major match up in this game was Bill Belichik vs. Derek Anderson.  Belichik’s schemes forced Derek Anderson into three interceptions.  Anderson did throw for two touchdowns and 287 yards, but was extremely ineffective for the first three quarters.

Cleveland's secondary came to play today against Randy Moss, it's just they forgot about Ben Watson who torched them for 6 catches for 107 yards and 2 touchdowns.  Although the Browns didn't record a sack, they did get adequate pressure on Brady forcing him into some inaccurate passes, and a season low 57% comptetion percentage.
